"Michael R. Berman, M.D., FACOG, a 1970 graduate of New York Medical College is clinical professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Yale University School of Medicine and is president of County Obstetrics and Gynecology Group, with offices in Branford, Clinton, Wallingford and New Haven. He is attending physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital where he holds the position of President, Yale-New Haven Physician-Hospital Organization.. Dr. Berman is Founder and President of Hygeia, an internet-enabled program providing the most comprehensive resource and largest international online community for families experiencing the grief and sorrow which accompany the loss of a pregnancy or newborn child and the angst of parenting and caring for critically ill neonates or children. Dr. Berman also administers the Hygeia Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization which he founded, whose mission is to bring to medically indigent and under-served populations, nationally and internationally, interactive information with regards to Maternal and Child Health and facilitate access to these services.
